Life long friends Jeannine & Shanna organically took the leap into business one sunny day in Sun Peaks BC.

Shanna found her way to Sun Peaks in November of 2020. Almost 2 years later, Jeannine & her daughter Aspen they saw the need for custom window coverings in the community.

We found ourselves asking “what else is possible here?”. Sun Peaks Blinds & Drapery was Brought to life very quickly over the girls vacation time together. We found ourselves at the town office the very next day applying for our business license. Just like that, we dove in head first (Like most businesses we’ve co-created with).

The thing about operating in flow is, when the idea is right, it’s so right and it happens with ease.

Jeannine began selling blinds in 2009 through the years she has fallen in love with the industry, the clients & the homes choosing to expand was so in alignment. With Jeannines over 14 years in the industry quickly gaining status in the industry, this gives us the ability to give better discounts, and know which brands & styles are best to offer.

Julia was hired in spring of 2020. Jeannine met her on an in-home consultation, it wasn’t long before she was in the shop working full time and learning all the ins and out of the business. With her eye for design & eagerness to learn, Julia started to take over most of the day-to-day tasks at the office.

Shanna has since relocated to the Okanagan & Sun Peaks blinds has grown to service several areas around BC. We work with multiple home builders, construction companies & interior designers in Sun Peaks, Kamloops, Kelowna, Osoyoos & surrounding areas.
